Thanks Nitin
It is always helpful to have someone make a stab at documenting these things (as long as it is not me!).
My thoughts/recollections in response -
Outcomes
1. Rather than John R Horne, the end result was all 'NGM I&C Administrator' users would be able to run the MI 'all tables' download. (I guess there would be Gareth + two others, and John R Horne + two others = ~6 total). In practice it would normally be John or one of his team. His 'team' would be responsible for the MI Report generation (not necessarily him).
2. PDF files - I am not sure that we cleared the 'contents' of each the way you have expressed it. Certainly there would be the 'pdf quotes' that go to the customers available. It was not clear whether these would include the full 'input data' that we anticipated in the F1A and F1B CSV files. I assume what we thought of for F2A (Meter module selection and quotation elements) would be part of the PDF quote for Type A jobs. I think we need clarification here between us - but we are not far out.
3. User Groups - My understanding is the 'NGM I&C Administrator' users would Create and Manage accounts for the 3 user groups sat below it. The only other one creating and managing accounts is the one you had as a. (i.e. not for b. or c.- these are just groups of internal NGM users set-up by the ~6 Super Users, likely to be Gareth + two others that do this in practice).
4. The person accepting the quotation would be logged in the audit table with time and date stamp, without detracting from the 'Contact person' in the Job Details which would be the person who progressed from enquiry to quotation (who may also have their ID logged against a time and date stamp in the audit/status table).
De Scoping
4. Manual Quote - What was taken out of scope is the ability to generate through Web MIP and manual (Type B) quote through on-line editing of a text document, addition of prices, elements etc. (which would become a pdf in Web MIP). What this becomes (and remains in scope) is the ability to upload a 'business generated' pdf. I think Joanne may have been confused in her references against the latest costings for these 2 variants. The 'saving' should be in going from the one to the other.
5. User Uploads - there were at least 3 options identified around this. Advantica were going to come back having fleshed these out and put relative costs/savings against them.
7. Bulk Upload - Agreed that the occasional 'drawings uploads/changes' would be divorced from the more frequent 'data uploads'. The ability (for NGM I&C Administrators) to view and update the master data would be provided as part of the core functionality (needed for testing anyway).
An iterative process was agreed in principle for refinement of master data structures - starting with an overview of the proposed tables from Advantica, which we can then validate with the SAP Blueprint Design teams. The closeness (or otherwise) or Web MIP master data table structures to those of Blueprint SAP will determine the means for doing the Bulk Upload (e.g. Does a MS Access reference set of tables drive uploads to both Web MIP and SAP, or do SAP Updates produce a set of files for uploading into WebMIP). I think we considered the possibility of removing the Bulk Upload functionality from scope, but I didn't think we agreed on this as a working assumption (Joanna's updated high level estimates has taken this).
Clarification on team mail boxes - yes I anticipated the
* Type B Quotation Requests
* Type A Accepted Quotations, and
* Type B Accepted Quotations
would go to three separate team mailboxes (at least two anyway). I am about to embark on setting new ones up for all of I&C, in line with the new 'Blueprint' organisational design, so it would be aligned to that.
I expect you have left for holiday now<6F> Best regards

All
For clarity of all - I have created notes from the meeting we had in the morning. Kindly have a look and let me know if there is anything I might have missed out.
Martin : Could you clarify the point you made regarding sending out PDF<44>s for Bespoke jobs to a different mail box <20> I am assuming that your steer was to send PDF<44>s related to Job Type A in a different mail box as compared to Job Type B for the ease of the business ?
